About our home
Abbeyfield Armstrong is a single-story building with 10 rooms available for residence.
Residents must be of reasonable health and able to be at least semi-independent. Abbeyfield does not provide any nursing or personal care, although residents can draw upon Community Home Services for some daily assistance at their own expense.
If you are reasonably healthy and are feeling insecure or lonely in your current accommodations, Abbeyfield might well be the perfect home for you. We ask that each applicant designate a trusted relative, friend or professional advisor who can be contacted and consulted in case of an emergency or other difficulty. No financial involvement is required on their part.
We are always looking for volunteers on our board and within the home. If volunteering interests you, Please contact us with the information below.

We are looking to fill ourst live in – Full Time House Coordinator Position
Abbeyfield House Armstrong is seeking a full time, live-in, House Coordinator.
You must be extremely out going, organized, and capable of multi-tasking to manage this busy, multi-person household, willing to interact with seniors and their families on a daily basis and managing contractors and others needed to assure a safe and healthy environment. Your resume should show proof of your experiences exercising those attributes.
You must be experienced with preparing meals for a minimum of 10 people twice a day. Being adept at meal planning, cost comparison, and an excellent baker will be Lovely.
A two bedroom apartment including utilities is provided in addition to the salary and living in is required.
*Salary is in the range of $2,400 monthly.
*Work is Monday to Friday with weekends off.
