JP Melville, Abbeyfield Canada Executive Director and Abbeyfield House Society of Lakefield‘s Ron Black, provided a presentation on September 7th. to the Ontario East Municipal Conference in Ottawa about Abbeyfield Canada and provided more specific information on the Abbeyfield Lakefield project to a standing-room-only session room. Both Ron and JP have already had several inquiries and questions from a number of attendees and we think we have sparked some interest in the Abbeyfield model for smaller rural communities.
