Patti is the treasurer of Armstrong Spallumcheen Abbeyfield House Society and has been involved in the Abbeyfield organization since the House was first planned in 2000. She has served as board president for many years and has acted as Staff Liaison. She has also been an active volunteer with the Abbeyfield BC Trust Society.
